Azimuth Projects and pastry chef Natalie Zarzour are delighted to present..
FLAY, a multisensory afternoon showcasing a two-person art exhibition and dessert tasting. The event will feature a trio of rich, flakey and velvety desserts against the backdrop of new sculptures by Noelle Allen and recent paintings by Kellie Romany.
MENU INCLUDES THREE DESSERTS
A truffle of dark chocolate made from raw local cultured cream from the Kilgus Family Farm, infused with subtle notes of licorice root, sea salt, and peppercorns. Rolled in crushed dark chocolate, roasted cocoa nibs, and cocoa powder.
Influenced by sculptures by Noelle Allen
Vanilla bean custard and guava jelly baked into a flakey cornmeal pastry crust and finished in beautifully colored sugar glazes.
Influenced by the paintings of Kellie Romany
Fluffy doughnuts flavored with aromatic mastic and ouzo, fried in pork fat, and served in a warm spiced honey sauce made from raw, local honey.
