All Things Magical
Michael Garcia is an artist and curator seamlessly blending two practices through his love of the occult, mysticism and fantasy. While Garcia usually curates at the Pentagon Gallery in Logan Square, he made a guest appearance this past fall in Bridgeport’s Co-Prosperity Sphere. Level Eater II, which is now an annual event and art exhibition that focuses on artists’ work that plays with or has gained influence from Science Fiction or Fantasy. The exhibition showcased a range of media: painting, drawing, sculpture, sound, photography and video as well as viewer participation in fantasy games.
